Te Wheke, just one more time!

We read the story about Kupe and Te Wheke.

We got to make an animation about this story and recreate the ending.

Tena Koe, I am Lucy and I live on the West Coast in a town called Greymouth. I go to the Greymouth Baptist Church on Sundays. I have three fish and their names are Bob, Jelly and Chocolate. I have one best friend at school called Atawhai. My other best friend at Karoro School has left and is now in Australia. My good friend Emily is also moving away. I LOVE to do sport and also LOVE to eat. I am a year five student in Room Five and I’m good at reading and typing but I take my time. I have 2 big brothers and 1 little sister. I live with my mum, dad and my little sister who has cancer. My 2 big brothers are in the North Island at different boarding schools. I LOVE Drama !!! My goal this year is to be better at remembering things. ( I am pretty bad at that!) My favourite animal is a polar bear. My favourite food is an egg!!!
